I've really enjoyed Trophy Wife and The Michael J. Fox show this season, unfortunately I think the later is to be cancelled.

I think you'd enjoy Gilmore Girls. I bought the series on DVD years ago and I really enjoyed it. Don't know if it's available now.

OP here. I think Nashville is okay- a little on the soap-opera side for me (and I like Downton Abbey!). Not that I am looking for something really intellectual!

Also I should add I'm not really into suspense or thriller or mysteries... more Parenthood-type themes.
