I've been on synthroid for a couple years now and I am still exhausted. I've seen two endos and both of them just shrug and say they don't know why I'm tired. I usually sleep most of the day on my days off/weekend. I've tried a GF diet, taking the pill at night instead of in the am, etc. Still so freaking tired.
I was on synthroid and still felt tired. The doctor switched me to armorthyroid, which made a big difference for me. Armor is natural, made from pig thyroid.
Can you give the name of this Dr.
Anonymous wrote:NP here. My doctor kept shrugging me off too since my numbers were fine on synthroid. I got some energy going GF and when I told him he said "oh yeah, a lot of people say that" yet he never suggested it. Still not 100%, and weightloss is a complete nightmare and believe me I eat right and exercise, etc.
OP keep us posted. Wish I had a good referral for you.
