I am light blue-eyed natural brunette and there is no way I'd risk the documented side effect of darkening iris. My eyes are my thing.

they do. And I don't use mascara, so it's not that. it's annoying.

They also tend to have slimmer hips and thinner legs, which so many women are always trying to get. Drag queens have a ridiculously unfair advantage.

Agreed.

Ridiculously long, lush, thick lashes, I have seen in men. Women have to use eyeliners...

waaah....we are not even the fairer sex!!!

Oil? I use mascara mainly so that my blonde eyelashes stand out. Oil wouldn't do anything. I look really plain without mascara, but maybe it wouldn't be the same if I had black eyelashes to begin with.

It darkens the lashes and shapes them. I use a very small amount and it works for hours. Coconut oil is a very light oil, I'm not sure it would work with other oils. I have dark blond lashes and I never liked how black mascara looked on them.

Same here...
Maybe because men tend to be hairier? At least they are in my experience....

My mascara messes mine up. I have clumps of eyelashes that fall out whereas DH never has this problem. I think mascara makes them stiff and brittle.

Love mascara though and am not going to stop...

Yes my brother's and son's lashes are long. not sure why but I do see this to be at least partially true.

mine on the other hand are....wah...wah...wahhhhh.....

I never wear mascara because there is literally NOTHING out there that makes my lashes look longer or thicker.

I think makeup/mascara f@cks ours up.

DH and my boys have super thick, long and lush lashes.

I've seen so many men with thicker, longer eyelashes (my father being one such person). I don't think that they're wearing false eyelashes

Has anyone else noticed this?

If yes, what do you make of it?
