119 parent here. There are reasons why DD might test low, even on a WISC. She is a good student, but at that age was having issues with tests/evaluations in general. She is not among the top students in AAP, but not the bottom either.

And she is in her local school, which is an AP center. FWIW, we did not appeal to get her in -- she was in pool with one CogAT subtest.

My AAP kid has a 120 FSIQ. The PRI and VCI were superior and very superior. My DC is 2E, the processing speed brought down the FSIQ.

A 119 kid could have a very high pri and/ Vci and low working memory. 1 number does not tell the story
