FCPS makes the "gifted" child their focus, above and beyond all others. And now apparently "gifted" includes any child who is slightly above average. I think those kids have received more than enough attention.
Agree. Budget cuts galore but they won't drop AAP or FLES. Wouldn't want the rich kids to have a harder time getting into an Ivy. Or to not be fluent in Japanese or German.
