I think I love you.

Depends. Will you be wearing a bow tie?

When I worked in Richmond, about half the office wore something seersucker on any given summer day. I wore SS pants, I admit.

Hrm. I think it depends on the cut and style. Could be fantastic and slightly tongue-in-cheek, could be old and dowdy.

Pics?

Only ok on children under 5, and even then it is questionable.

I say go for it. It can look good on people and we are technically below the Mason-Dixon line.

I think women should wear a skirt version rather than a pantsuit, but it can be overwhelming. A seersucker suit with a pop of color from the top or the shoes, and modern accessories, can look great, so that you distinguish it from the frumpy version of the outfit. A seersucker shirt or jacket, on the other hand, is pretty easy to integrate into an outfit.

I have a seersucker shift dress and love it in the summer!

Nothing sexier on a man...

I had one and wore it until the seams split, I have not been able to find another that had the right combination of casual and structure. I wore it every Wednesday, or whatever day it is one wears it. Love to see some links...

Why am I picturing Miss Hamilton, my strident, masculine, dowdy gym teacher in 1980? Oh, because this is what she might have worn on a day that she needed to dress up. Ugh.

If you do a seersucker suit, be sure to wear white pumps and suntan pantyhose and carry a matching white pocketbook. Bonus points for a floppy tie blouse and your hair pulled back in a severe bun.

Love it. Have one and wear it.

OMG no. Maybe a dress or skirt in the right setting (beach, vacation, fox hunt or horse races)

Not a bad thing if you don't mind being a walking Tennessee Williams cliche. Actually seersucker separates can be cute, but I think a suit is too much.

Too much. Just one piece at a time will suffice.
