My daughter is only going to first. We did not get into charter lottery and waiting for specialty lottery. As soon as she can get into charter or specialty we will transfer. The elementary years are no where near as bad as what you may see in middle or high. So if we can get into a specialty school til 8th we will take it. We may need private in high school.

We are next year. While I am sure it is going to be fine (charter has good rep), I am nervous.

Has anyone switched from a private school to Public either the TAG program, Charter School, or local Public? My son got in at CMIT for 3rd grade however with 25 students per class, no principal and no one who can answer questions regarding what the schedule is going to be etc. I am very wary. Has anyone else had a okay transition going from Private to Public.
