Interesting you found the prices higher. Their store brand is cheap, but that doesn't go for everything in the store.

I frequent the one on Georgia ave as well and noticed the same thing. Now I'm back at the mice infested Safeway up the street.

Walmart in the suburbs is definitely cheaper than any of the other grocery stores, except perhaps Wegman's.

Their prices are probably higher in DC b/c of high rent. Out in the burbs their prices are pretty cheap.

Then don't.

Walmart is not cheap!

Yesterday I decided to check out the new walmart on Georgi Avenue. It was expensive and there was a poor selection of everything, not just groceries. I won't be going back!
