OP, that's a tall order. You already work full time, how many hours do you think you really would be able to spend at this without sacrificing sleep or important time with your child? I'd rather not share the road with someone spread so thin. Do you work in a public school? Are salaries that bad? (I guess that's pretty relative to what's considered bad.) Are you off in the summer? Lots of opportunities for extra work then.

What about online essay grading?

OP, do you have a spouse? Someone to watch your child at night? If so, I would get a job out of the house, in retail or in a store. only a few nights a week and you could bring in money that way.. more likely than finding a reputable at home at night job.
