I actually am pretty lazy, but my husband is kind enough to never bring it up. Your husband is projecting and if he does to realize it or willing to seek help then may need to reevaluate.

I think we have a rare consensus on DCUM - which means your husband was out of line. No more cooking pancakes for him. He can make his own fucking breakfast.

Stop cooking for him. Why would you make him a huge breakfast before going to work while he is playing video games? Who cares if he eats out?

WTF. You know how many pancakes I make? 1 batch of the same recipe we use every time. That's it. It's not like eggs where you can make 2 or 3. Pancakes you get like 6 or 12. You husband has issues.

He is just whining...if this is the worst thing he is complaining about, I don't think marriage is over. If he is belittling and complaining about everything, he needs to get checked for depression and/or go to counseling together.

'Cause he is too busy playing video games and kitchen is too small for two people to fit in.. I usually do the weekend cooking, except today I was rushing to go to work..

You do not deserve being treated like this. It will destroy even the self esteem you have now. A grown man who will whine about pancakes 'not being enough' is bad news.

My husband called me lazy, for not making enough pancakes. Sounds silly to bring this up, but pancakes, eggs, and a bowl of oatmeal seemed to be enough for a grown man. Besides, he made such a huge deal, how uncaring and lazy I am to no serve "enough" pancakes and how I am the reason he has to eat out because I'm not making enough food..
Of course that's not the first time he calls me lazy but how in the world a person, that works 7 days s week, some days even double shifts, could be called lazy.... I could barely hold my tears, and yes, it sounds weak, but do I keep on hoping this demanding behavior might change or...?
