For the interview I had a very nice classic designer suit, but for the day-to-day at work I need business casual. I literally only own jeans and yoga pants and have been wearing casual boots and sneakers all winter. Help me! I am tall and thin everywhere but the hips. Literally all the fat in my body is there! To give a size example, Loft size 27 (4) curvy cut jeans fit pretty well.
For basic black pants what length is in? Are cropped at the ankle pants fashionable? Because I am quite tall, I prefer flats. Are the rounded ballet ones still in or are the pointy toed ones more fashionable? Also, is a leather tote in that brown color that matches everything ok? Do you recommend any stores where I could get most everything at one place? Shopping really stresses me out which is why I am so out if touch. Thank you for helping me out!
Congrats on the job! Lots of good suggestions here, but to answer your specific question - rounded or pointy toed shoes are both fashionable. Brown tote sounds great. And we're in a pretty good pants world right now where anything goes - a lot of people are wearing slim pants that are ankle-length, so you're on the right track. I think Loft, the Gap, The Limited are all great ideas.
