I think that most fed daycares are technically open to non-Fed families, but you get the lowest priority on the waitlist, and as a matter of fact, I've never seen a non-Fed get a spot at a Fed daycare.

Little Scholars CDC is the Library of Congress day care. We are happy there.

There is a great day care center in the FAA building - DOTCDC. Its at 900 Independence Ave. Very good.
