Agree with you that I wish we could scrap the MSA this year in favor or real teaching/instruction!! That said, I don't want my kids heading to school in ice tomorrow. If it isn't safe, then delay the opening.

I'm a teacher and I just wish we could cancel the MSA in lieu of adding on the snow days. At least then the instruction would match what was missed for the snow days. I feel like my students have barely touched third quarter and it's almost over!

I swear, if there's a delay tomorrow, I'm going in on time anyway and rounding up neighborhood children along the way.

It's either open or a delay. MCPS decides at 4:30am. They might do like the last time it snowed at 6am, and open on time despite the icy mess.

If they delay however, the MSAs will be delayed yet again... it's so silly, they're good for nothing, yet stress out my DS, more so if he expects them and they are delayed. Grr.
