I know the 1 year at a minimum is wrong, because 1 week after my child had his annual IEP, his doctor decided he needed hearing aids. So we had a second IEP about 1 month later which include Deaf and Hard of Hearing goals. So I know that is wrong.
Maybe I wasn't clear... You can have as many IEP meetings as needed, 2, 10, whatever. But you have to meet at least once a year for review of the IEP.
