Hey, $h!t happens and it happens to everybody. OP, you may be feeling awful about it, but I would just forget it. You said you didn't say anything bad in the e-mail. And yes, considering the amount of e-mails that the admins receive, he would probably just dismiss it. Besides, now that your son is already in college, what are they going to do? Just think about your son's well-being and the campus issues that he is in. It was just a mistake. Chin up!

The only way I know about the mistake is that I always check my "sent" folder to make sure my messages went out. We sometimes have problems with Verizon email.

DS had forwarded the message, and when I hit reply, my Verizon email replied to the original sender. I did not verify the address it was going to before I hit "send".

But how in the world did you make such a boo-boo?
Wouldn't you have had to type the administrator's name into the TO line? Why not simply hit REPLY and respond directly to your son?
Speaking of, I'd mention it to my son (and hope he doesn't completely freak out).
If the admin. responds to you, oh well. I'm sure it would be a diplomatic response, but I don't think your email would stand out among the thousands they receive.

My DS has concerns about a situation at his college and forwarded me a letter from administration that was on the same topic, partially to illustrate his concern and looking for feedback. (It is a campus issue, not related to DS individually)
