I've done it, it's terrible. The flavor isn't covered up like spinach or kale is. And it makes the consistency weird and too thick

I love broccoli, and serve it with dinner several nights a week. I use my smoothie to sneak in things I don't like that much, like kale. So, no broccoli in the smoothie.

I sometimes add broccoli stems that would otherwise hit the trash. I put apple and ginger and lemon in my smoothies so pretty much anything is covered up.
Veggies don't give me gas.
