Adidas athletic pants (not sure what the style is called- they are elastic waist, not adjustable, and available at Nordstrom) fit well. I was able to get size 7x in those pants- they are longer than regular 7s but with a size 7 waist. Not sure if they have the x in other sizes as well.
May I say that I love shorts season when pants aren't an issue?
