Macy's. good customer service and can try them in the stores. I would not buy a mattress without trying it first.

I just bought twin mattresses for our preschoolers at Sears and paid $200 each on sale for a Sealy Posturpedic - the Anaheim Ti. I'm very happy with it and it is very comfortable.

Costco (call first as not all have twins) or BJ's. BJ's is $50 cheaper and you can get a free few month membership. I prefer BJ's as it is firmer (we have both) and my husband likes the Costco as it is softer.

I think they only have a sample, like a cutaway piece. Best to try elsewhere and buy at Costco.

Depending on where you live -there is a block of Wisconsin Ave in Bethesda that has 4-5 mattress stores. Easy to go to all and see what you like.

Can you try costco mattresses in store? Or order online? We aren't members.

+1. They have a great return policy. But check to make sure it covers mattresses.

Looking for a twin mattress for our toddler and am at a loss. Don't want to spend too much but want it to last about 10 years. Went to sleepys and mattress warehouse and the salesmen obviously knew very little. Any other suggestions? We are in alexandria.
