I hate safari, but I'll switch to it for the greater good I'll try it for a while and report back!

I'm sorry, but I have no idea why this would happen. However, I suspect it is something specific to Chrome as we have a ton of Safari users and, so far, none of them has mentioned such a thing. I've never used Chrome on an iOS device myself, so I don't know anything about it. Can you try Safari for a bit and see if you have any issues with it?

Hi Jeff - I've been having a weird problem the last week or so. I usually browse dcum on my iphone 4, using the chrome app. The last week or so, what's started happening is that as I'm reading something or typing a response, my phone will spontaneously open the App Store on the page for a specific app. Usually a game called "heroes of Camelot" or an app called "trip planner". These are apps I've never used or searched for before. When I switch back to chrome, 95% of the time it's on the same dcum page, but occasionally chrome will display an error message saying "download failed". This normally happens once or twice a day (yes I spend a lot of time browsing dcum!) but this morning it's happened 4 times in the last half hour. It also happened once when I was using an iPad yesterday, too.

This only happens when I'm browsing dcum, so I'm hoping you can give me some insight as to what's going on! I'm starting to get worried that something's trying to force my phone to download these apps.
