Another vote for the stick blender. I love tomato soups, but hated making them. Now, they're so easy!

Not obscure, but my fancy rice cooker and my slow cooker have made my life so much easier.

Enameled cast iron Dutch oven. It's too big to fit in our cabinets, so it sits on a burner 24/7. We use it for everything- it's the thing I couldn't live without.
