Can never go wrong with a wrap dress.

Black ponte knit sheath dress from Lands' End, paired with a cardigan or jacket.

Black slacks, a loose fitting patterned blouse and black cardigan should be fine. Its what I wore last week to my gpa's funeral

Banana Republic has a "little black dress" section of dresses.

I agree that j crew dresses tend to be cut large in the tummy area to hide any trouble spots. Same is true for Ann Taylor dresses. Though if money is no object I'd get a nice Tory Burch dress like this one (good investment): www.toryburch.com/cecile-dress/52131449.html?start=44&cgid=clothing-dresses&dwvar_52131449_color=001

j crew just came out with their bridesmaid collection, and they have some beautiful cuts and you could do them in black.

I know because I have that bulge and am delicate on top but have hips/bum/thighs, LOL and I have three of their dresses, two in black and they very much even me out.

Wear a black blazer silk scarf w it too, that hides.

Go with a skirt or a wrap style dress.

My tummy has the post-baby bulge and is unattractive - so I don't wear close fitting tops or most dresses any more. The only style that hides it are shift dresses. Can anyone recommend a suitable black dress in this style for a funereal that is in a few days? I would be happy to pay quite a bit for it too as I just need to have a good black dress anyway.
