b/c it's gentle. And it works. = )

Never did for me.

The Neutrogena Gentle Cleanser (in the white and robins egg blue pump) works much better at getting off makeup.

Surprised nobody's mentioned oil cleansing, I have been doing it for about a year now and it's fabulous. Fwiw my skin has always been extreme-combination. Where it's oily, it's really oily, and where it's dry, it's rough and flaky. Ocm really evened everything out, it's easy and I can muck around with the essential oils in it (ie some eucalyptus if I have a cold).

1. Cetaphil (either wipe off or suds formula)
2. Pond's (wipe off)
3. Purpose (suds)

I like La Roche Posay Toleriane cleanser. Walgreens has it.

Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser. Not the one for oily dry skin but the one for regular skin. don't use water, just wipe it off with a Kleenex.

My skin isn't particularly sensitive, but I have pretty dry skin on my cheeks and a moderately oily t-zone. I've been using Dove original bar soap for years and it's the only thing that doesn't overly dry out my skin--I use it for face and body.

Simple brand. Get at Walgreens or cvs. It's great.

I have really sensitive and extremely dry skin on my face. I've tried so many facial cleansers but can't find one that doesn't dry out or irritate my skin. Any suggestions?
