I have two very close friends who have been TTC for 5+ years. One is still waiting, another is in her 2nd pregnancy. Both have had tough journeys. Anytime we have experienced a pregnancy, they pull back a bit, and there is no way we would be upset by that. Actually, we are a bit hesitant on how to break the news sometimes b/c we are sensitive to their journey. It is completely understandable to react however you need to stay positive for you in the long run, and true friends will get it. I've also had two losses and both times, both of my TTC friends, were also supportive.

I got pregnant with #1 fairly easily but it's been much harder this time around. All of my friends have 2 if not 3 and it's really really hard. Especially when some of them got pregnant with #3 by accident!! Hang in there. Just think one day it will be your turn too and enjoy the nice parts of having one for now

Did anyone go through this for #2 vs #1 though? Maybe it's different (OP here, just wondering)

I hate to admit this but while I was happy for them, I found I had to pull back a bit to avoid going completely nuts. I still attended showers for close friends but wanted less day to day talk of pregnancy and babies.

how did you deal with your close friends' news of successes when you're having such a hard time TTC? am having secondary infertility for #2 and all my friends are announcing second pregnancies... bam bam bam one after another and it keeps hitting me hard. I'm happy for them, but lots of jealousy and misery also
