If you're close to Del Ray in Alexandria, give the butcher a call -- Let's Meat on the Avenue is the name of his shop. He can usually get anything you want, if he doesn't already have it in stock.

Maybe Wagshals (butcher) in upper NWDC, but I would call first.

Eastern market vendors have an excellent array of bacons.

You can get this kind of bacon at one of the butcher shops at Eastern Market on Capitol Hill.

Maybe a store like Balducci or Dean and Delucca?

I'm referring to the type of packaged bacon available through Zingermans' - not the organic stuff you can get at Whole Foods. Are there stores or butchers or the like in the area I could go to buy some different types?

I'll order through Zingermans if I have to but was hoping to find a local source since receiving a package is difficult for me at this time.
