Actually, the incidence post D&C of Asherman's is quite high 30+%. But I htink the majority of those cases don't impact fertility. I seem to recall a stat of around 10% post-D&C scarring that's problematic, but I can't recall where I saw it.

And OP, I agree with you thta it's frustrating how little info you get about scarring when deciding on a D&C.

OP here. Ugh. Why don't they warn women? Honestly, I would have postponed the D&C to see how things progressed naturally if I thought it would at all impact my fertility.

My OB gave me no indication that this was even a risk. She kept saying how it's a standard procedures, et cetera.

Meanwhile, I was grief-stricken and just wanted it to be over.

It's possible. I've had 2 D&Cs and my RE later found a 1cm diameter scar during a saline ultrasoud. She was going to do a hysteroscopy but I got successfully pregnant before she had a chance. Good luck.

I got pregnant easily but then had a miscarriage and D&C. I'm a little worried that we aren't conceiving as quickly/easily as before.

My periods seem fine, but I was wondering if perhaps there is scarring or some problem resulting from the D&C.
