If you travel to Sweden and that area, and Ukraine and that area - there are TONS of fur coats of all kinds.

I hardly ever see anyone in fur here. It's almost shocking on the rare occasion that I do see someone. OP, where do you live that you see so many fur-wearing people?

I am AA and do not see alot of us in fur? Where do you see this? I would never wear animal fur.

I see a lot of AA women wearing fur coats, but I don't see a lot of women of other races wearing fun coats.

I don't really think of the US as a big fur wearing country.

When I lived in northern Italy 20 years ago many women, especially middle aged and older, wore fur coats. They weren't special occasion coats; I saw them all times of day, on people riding bikes, etc.

I don't think of Americans as being big fur wearers.
