try eating healthier, less sugar, more exercise, nore sex, more love, that makes sleep better, stress less, you could live another 40 or 50 years so take thing lightly and with a little humor it helps

Don't know about eating but I definitely need less sleep. One good thing to come out of this change!

I've been trying to eat less, and that helps me sleep, ironically. I can't seem to digest food I eat at night, so I often skip dinner, which makes me sleep better. I try to eat a large breakfast and lunch, and then nothing for dinner. Doesn't always work with my family meals, but I do it as often as I can.

I have gained a lot of weight post menopause (like 18 pounds, and I NEVER gained weight before, even after kids), so that has been very depressing. I am not a big exerciser, mostly walk, play a little tennis, but I am now focusing on exercising regularly to lose this belly I've grown.

Sleep is a problem. As I said, when I skip dinner, I sleep a lot better, but sometimes I just wake up in the middle of the night, and lie awake for hours.

Have you tried melatonin, OP? I use it when I can't fall asleep and it works. I take 1mg. Get it at Whole Foods.

Do you eat and sleep less as you got older?
