I don't remember if I heard about this technique here or elsewhere, but I just used my stand mixer to shred chicken for the first time and it was AWESOME! It took about 30 seconds to shred about 3.5 lbs of boneless breasts and it did a better job than I do by hand. Just put the breasts in with the paddle and let it rip!

Now I'll actually use my mixer a lot more often. Can't wait to try this for pulled pork.
