I wish I could remember pp, I can't remember the brand we got. I think my FIL bought the first kind at a random outdoor supply store, and then the next batch online, but I have no additional info-I will ask and come back.

Agree, they are amazing. My FIL bought two huge bags over the holidays and we destroyed them.

My neighbor made a big bag of this for us for Halloween. From what she told me it's just plain Pirate's Booty with caramel poured over top. It IS delicious.

Are you saying you baked them yourself in that pan? Or had them somewhere? Hot? Or room temperature like Cracker Jack?

I have corn puffs once a year on the drive to Ocean City in August in a little dive-y restaurant in Cambridge. They are truly the best thing I have ever had, and I crave them all year. But they aren't caramel.
