I was on BC for 19 days before my ivf cycle and bled for the first 10 of those days.

It depends on the b/c. I had a very heavy bleed for the first three months on b/c. It finally stopped, but months later my RE diagnosed me with adenomyosis, which would in fact cause very heavy AFs. He said it would not affect my ability to get pregnant and he was right (finally!).
