Something happened that was probably major in the mind of a 12 year old but doesn't even register for you (maybe she over heard you or DH say something, maybe she got in trouble for somethign small, etc etc). If you try to understand the mind of a pre teen/teen, you'll go nuts. Unless she's googling something that makes you worried (how to hide cuts etc) I wouldn't make a big deal out of it.
