It seems like there will be very little snow, maybe an inch that won't stick. That can't be grounds for keeping the schools closed but the problem is the snow will start in the middle of the night making it tricky to get cleaned up, if there is any need for cleanup. I suspect a delay and think it will be totally unnecessary.

I love snow - but this is bad timing after MCPS was already closed two days last week. We'll see what happens.

It's hard to be like, Yay! Freezing rain!

I hate winter with a passion, but if it has to be cold and yucky at least real snow it way better than freezing rain or ice.

My children may kill each other. And if they do, I may cheer.

It looks like a mere dusting, however the possibility of freezing rain in the morning means everyone should check the school status first thing tomorrow. MCPS monitors will get up at 4 and look at the streets for this one - no one will know tonight.

I'm hoping for a delay but doubting it will happen.

What do we think this means for tomorrow. Granted it sounds like a small amount, but my weather alert mentioned the dreaded sleet/freezing rain combo. I'm as stir-crazy as everyone else, but hoping we have a delay rather than a dangerous, icy first morning back.
