I get puffy eyes all the time from allergies. With animals, my eyes can stay puffy for a couple days.

Take some advil to bring the inflammation down

This happens to me too and usually takes about 48 hrs to completely go away.

allergic reaction to laundry detergent, dryer sheets (on the bedding) or from scented shampoo on your hair, or air freshener that is still in your hair from wherever you were yesterday. This happens to me, too. Try using hydrocortisone cream.

Has this happened to anyone before--I woke in the night with puffy eyes--most likely a reaction from dog hair on a friend's clothes. This has happened to me before.

I took a clairitan. In the morning, I took another and showered. The puffiness is still there. I know it's an allergic reaction not something like pink eye, but usually the reaction would have receded by this point.

I can take something like a benedryl tonight, but I'm just wondering if anyone has experienced this long of a reaction.
