It is chaotic during the school day, and many of the teachers scream at the children. I've seen children grabbed by their arms, and yelled at until they cry. The administration seemed to resent that I stuck around and observed some days, and that I asked a lot of questions regarding my DD's education.(They seemed to never have answers). They even had to hire a consultant to observe/train the teachers, and she seemed to infer to me that she was fighting a losing battle.
I was friendly with someone who was most likely the only good teacher there. They quit after about two months and refused to explain why. I asked if it was a bad school, and the reply? "No comment. But be happy that ----- is going to a new school soon."
Yes, it's a "daycare" and I didn't expect much. But the teachers are just completely inept, often times inappropriate. Untrained, lazy, young babysittters who were just nasty to the kids.
But hey, that's just my two cents!
PP, can you tell us how old your child is? I've been told the teachers for the infants, young toddlers are good but not so good as the kids get older.
