There are two of us. I always want to take the other mother out for coffee and commiserate with her. No one else gets it in the same way.

If I lived anywhere near the DC area I would meet you in a heartbeat. How are you today?

I really fell in internet-love with the black guy of the "I'm a black guy, ask me anything" thread. I sometimes want to ask him another question but feel silly dredging up such an old thread.

Is this the women whose child was in hospital? If it is it's who I think about too.

Was just thinking about that thread last night. I think about that OP often, and I hope she is doing well.

I also think about the Hug Your Child thread

How sweet, thank you. I see there are still a lot of wonderful, kind women (and men) here.

I am doing OK these days.

I would really like to know what happened to the expectant mom who was so anxious about giving birth that she started like 3 threads about various things and then rejected everyone's advice or argued with it.

Me too!

I don't remember those threads. Sounds like I missed out on something good.

The ones who have cancer.
The ones with serious financial issues.

The poster whose husband had a happy ending massage. She initially did not think DH was cheating but DCUM convinced her. True enough, he was. She never came back. Wonder how it turned out.

That poster who wanted to ask her doctor out for a date but knew that it crossed appropriate lines so she was going to find a different doctor and then get up the nerve to ask out her former doctor.

She never came back and updated us... wish she did!

I was reading something today and remembered a particular poster. This poster comes across my mind every now and then when I hear certain stories or read certain books. Does anyone remember the mom with the son who has been hospitalized multiple times for hurting himself, threatening to hurt himself, etc? I believe there was also a dad with two daughters, one of which had some problems and had to be kept away from her sister. Anyways, I think about these posters and wonder how they are and how things are going for them.

Are there any specific posters who you think about from time to time and wonder how they are doing?
