Subject: Preschool moving. Pros and Cons
So much of this answer depends on how a child handles change and transitions in general.

Well, if you put him somewhere else, he will still get a whole lot of change. Our daycare had to relocate for a year and a half due to renovations on the primary building. The kids did just fine, as the adults were still the same.

Our preschool is moving. Did you select the Springs Montessori in springfield for your ds?

I can see how the move is negative. Adjustment period for kids, teachers and staff.

I don't see how this is a negative issue unless the move is far, then I could see some families deciding not to move or possibly losing teachers. I applied to a PS that was slated to move and we turned down our spots because of the increased travel time.

The preschool that we had selected for DS to attend this fall is moving. While the next location is much closer to us, I am afraid the quality of the school might suffer because of the transition. They also raise tuition by 20%. What would be the pros and cons that I should think of but isn't.
