I love them. They are also egg and dairy free which is my son's problem.

OP here. Thanks for all the feedback! It's very hard to guarantee various chocolate goods are peanut and tree nut free, which is why I'm going for Cherrybrook over other store bought cupcakes. My son has allergies as do two other kids in class. We can bring in homemade things, but we email ingredients to all parents first. That way each family can decide.

Like the chocolate cake, like the vanilla frosting in the jar, like the chocolate chip cookies. The boxed chocolate frosting did not set up for me. It could be my error but I'm usually decent at following instructions on a box. Not sure what I did wrong or if the proportions/ directions were slightly off. My result managed to be greasy and powdery at the same time.

These are only peanut free. They are not tree nut free. Sounds like OP needs something that is both.

I should have clarified this. Giant cupcakes that are labeled as peanut free are processed in a facility with tree nuts.

we use them for one of our kids. Though we add a tsp of vanilla to all recipes. Otherwise I find them bland. Not sure the kids would find them bland, but I do and I"m what matters

I'm surprised your school allows homemade foods to be brought in.

i have used them. I think they are good. I prefer other brands now, but I think that is more because I used Cherrybrook for a while and just got tired of it.

The kids will like them!

I am making these for a school valentine party. They are peanut and nut free. Has anyone used them before? Any taste reviews?
