The percentages were better for 9th grade, as I recall -- I don't know, maybe 20-25%? But that's a little misleading because there's such a process of self-selection by the time of 9th grade admissions. If the SSAT/ISEE scores aren't very strong a lot of families don't bother applying because they know the chances of admission are low.
