DH here. I am glad my DW has a great career.

The fact that we both work makes child care harder, but it works for us.

Curious, what kind of HHI do PPs have? How much would the SAH parent earn in the workforce?

I know this because if I even hint at going back, he starts stressing. I'm sure he would find a way to be supportive if it's what I wanted. But he wouldn't like it.

Good for you. And my situation is good for me too.

My paycheck is not needed. I have also earned enough as a WOHM and invested wisely.

And, right now, my presence at home has more value to my kids and DH. No one dictates anything to me...unless I let them dictate it to me.

I will go back and do something that I love, when the kids are launched. I was answering the question of DH wanting me to bring a paycheck. Hell, NO!

If I go back to work we will have to hire someone for all the services I do on a daily basis. However, I do substitute from time to time.
