No, it's not technically safe, but about 1 in 1200 raw eggs will make you sick, and I will take 300 chocolate mousses and 200 Caesar salads in return for one night clutching the toilet in a heartbeat.

yes, i make homemade mayo with raw pastured eggs. never had a problem.

A recipe I have for a salad dressing says to use raw eggs. Is this safe? I always thought it was a no but a quick google seems to indicate people do eat raw eggs.
