I'm the PP. I like Pete's, just not as much as 2 Amy's and Red Rocks. Pete's is our go to place for when we don't want to wait too long and want to take leftovers home.

I love Pete's. Am also a fan of Bertucci's. Yes, it's a chain, but it's surprisingly good.

Paradiso is always reliable.

Also Pupatella. My DH is determined to eat at every pizza place in DC and 2 Amy's and Pupatella are our favorites, followed by Red Rocks.

2 Amy's
Red Rocks
Pete's Apizza

Pete's is my least fave of that bunch, but most likely to have the ingredients you want. Check the menus first.

If you really like to taste the oven in the crust, comet ping pong. Red Rocks is also good.

Bertuccis is also surprisingly good. One of the best chains of any type, in my opinion. Their only issue is the ingredient quality has dropped a bit in the past decade (Sysco composite chicken breast instead of real chicken breast, etc.) but they do a consistent job with the oven (more so than some places like Matchbox which does a bad job with oven hot spots then if you complain act like you're an idiot for not knowing real pizza is supposed to be inedibly burnt in spots).

I'm craving something with caramelized onion and goat cheese...
Any ideas?
