Yes, you're right. There's no point in trying to do anything, because it won't work anyway. It's much better just to sit at home and complain on DCUM.

To literally launch a mutiny, pull your kids out of school one day, and stage a sit-in outside of Starr's office. I've floated this idea in this forum before, but no one picked it up and ran with it. If people really want to get his attention, then we need to do something big. I know parents who have met with him, sent letters, attended hearings...with no results. The only way to demonstrate that a significant number of parents are unhappy is to actually demonstrate...with kids in tow. And if we could do it when they have testing scheduled, even better.
