Perhaps you could share a list of "your approved topics" with the rest of us? Of course, we only want to post questions that meet your approval.

Not pp, but I agree that this was a dumb-ass question with an obvious answer that has been provided to you twice, and yet you remain, proving yourself more stupid by the keystroke.

PP here and not the OP. Hope your day improves!

10:35 here. I'm having a splendid day, thank you. What gave you the idea that I was not?

Is it because I don't suffer fools? That has nothing to do with the sort of day I'm having.

Off for my mani-pedi and lunch after. Cheerio.

Says the person posting on the internet message board specifically created for people to ask questions and get others thoughts and opinions.

and my opinion is that it's stupid to ask questions like this

Does your opinion approve of the many DCUM questions that could also be directed to a licensed physician or therapist, school administrator, an insurance company, minister, financial planner, neighborhood homeowners' association, social worker, etc?? In my opinion, the greatness of DCUM is that you can solicit opinions and get many credible responses very quickly!

Wow, OP, I agree with 21:42.

And you're a bitch.

I don't understand why you wouldn't just get the check and immediately send the mortgage company a check for the same amount? It would be an extra step but would accomplish what you want to do.

Have you ever called your mortgage servicer to ask for anything? Mine is completely unhelpful. I think this sounds like it will be a lot harder to do than just waiting for the check, depositing it and writing a check yourself.

Is it possible to apply our escrow overage to our mortgage balance instead of getting a refund check? We have about 1900 in overage and our monthly payment is 1800. It would be nice to pay ahead a month as a cushion (our lender allows a month of prepayment). Does anyone know if this is possible to do over the phone with the company? Or do you think we'd have to wait out making the refund request, wait for the check, deposit and then pay?
