Same boat! I mostly wear stupidly expensive high heel clog boots and shoes, because I can walk miles and miles in them but I feel (maybe wrongly!) that they also look put together enough.

skechers, clarks, naot, born--all of them make a mary jane which is perfectly fine for the office.

why not just change in sneakers or flats for your walks, but wear regular dress shoes at work?

Beautifeel makes some fairly attactive flats...lots of cushioning

It isn't fashionable, but I wear skechers or puma flats most of the time for the same reason. Both brands have open shoes that look like ballet flats (open top) mixed with sneakers.

Always feel uncomfortable with dress shoe even it is not high heel. I am an active person and like to go walking during lunch break so need a shoe good for walking but doesn't look too casual. So I have been wearing dark color sneaker most time...Thanks!
