Try cheddar, brocoli and mushrooms with minced garlic and black pepper. No need to precook the veggies.

Just make sure the veggies are well-drained & blotted dry with paper towel otherwise it may make your quiche on te soggier, less dense side.

Get a prepared pie crust (actually Giant makes a decent one) and let thaw to room temp.
Beat 5 eggs with a whisk in a bowl until foamy.
Add salt, pepper, a dash of cayenne (if you like), and a tiny pinch of nutmeg
Add a quarter cup milk, one tablespoon flour, one tablespoon mayo, and a quarter teaspoon baking powder
Whisk some more
Add whatever filling you like: grated cheese, chopped ham or bacon, sautéed onions and peppers, sun dried tomatoes, spinach, crabmeat etc. Mix well and pour into crust
Bake at 350 until top is light brown.

Enjoy!

Don't prebake the crust. Good luck!

It doesn't sound like you need to bake it first from that recipe.

I may be a dunce.. can someone check out this recipe.. specifically the pat in the pan crust aspect.. do I need to pre-bake the crust before I pour in the egg mixture? Or just pat the crust, pour in the egg mixture and bake it all together? Thanks!
