And my kid missed the pool by one point last year. Didn't have a great FxAT. We did the WISC and he got 99.8%. Still think he doesn't belong in AAP? (Which is right where he is and doing well....)

1. It isn't for gifted children.

2. Mine got in THE POOL with scores.

3. One doesn't "get into" AAP with scores alone.

4. I asked the question before the CogAT score was out.

Why not? You are allowed to submit extra information so why wouldn't you prepare the strongest file possible for your child?
