Thank you! I do not have 8k. I will sit down later this week and try again. Turbo tax keep suggesting I file non-resident forms. This might be the year I bite the H & R bullet.

I moved from VA to DC in December. Would that make me a part year resident in both VA and DC? If so how do I file btoh states with Turbo Tax? Right now the system is telling me I owe DC 8k after already paying VA 8k. That can't be right? Can it? Thank you
