If you are in SS, check out woodlands for Indian food. It's not too far from you and is some of the best in the area. If memory serves, it is entirely vegetarian, or at least it has lots of yummy veg options.
Indian food is a good way to go. Most restaurants don't cook with ghee because it's expensive, but I'd just confirm before serving it up to vegans. Some dishes have cream or yogurt in them - so I'd do a mix of creamy curry sauces and more tomato-based dairy free ones for your vegan friends. Samosas are super yummy.
Planning a party over here (Silver Spring), and need to feed about 35 folks, many of whom are veg and vegan, and lots who aren't otherwise too picky. Any ideas? Recommendations?
Indian, Middle Eastern, Chinese, Thai, etc. all sound good to me, and I'm open to other suggestions. Thanks in advance!
