I myself went to Woodward near State College PA for gym camp as a teen. LOVED it. Of course the price has tripled since then, but it is good for all levels. You are required to do 3 hours of gymnastics a day (grouped by level) and then there is another 3-5 hours of optional gym time, or you can do recreational activities.

What level is she in gymnastics? Does she take classes at a gym?

University of Maryland does host a gymnastics sleepaway camp one or two weeks over the summer. Haven't see the information for it as yet this year.

Most of the other gymnastics clubs like Silver Stars, Dynamite, Arlington Aerials, Gymini, etc. also host summer programs, as do some of the Y's. Check the USA Gymnastics website for members clubs.

Can anyone recommend a gymnastics day camp or a 1-2 week gymnastics sleepover camp for a 9 year old girl? We live in McLean. Any good experiences last year?
