The half-share was very generous. We also did the fruit and eggs and were quite pleased with the quality of everything.

I'm looking at this one right now. Do you by any chance know how the pick-up times are? Is it like a small window during the weekday during work hours, or is it weekend hours? I saw some complaints in reviews that some locations were dropped without notification.

It was 4-7 PM on Tuesdays at the Hyattsville location.

Red Wiggler Farm. Supports a great program (hires adults with developmental disabilities). Bonus for being organic and using other best practices.

We really like Sandy Spring CSA. They have lots of pickup locations. They also offer a partial share. We find that a full share is too much for our family of 4 (kids are 2 and 4). The partial share is 60% of a full share I believe. What we do instead is split with a neighbor. We split the cost 50/50, then alternate the weekly pickups. That way we aren't trying to split a head of lettuce in half.

On this snow day I'm researching potential CSAs for the next 3 seasons in a valiant effort to keep myself from eating my entire kitchen. Does anyone have reviews? I'm in Olney but willing to travel within MoCo for pick up. Thank you.
